Compulsion by Jonathan Kellerman

*****

Usual murder mystery fiction featuring psychologist Alex Delaware partnered with LAPD detective Milo Sturgis. Grand easy holiday read that raced along but the plot I shall probably have forgotten by vacation's end. #book #fiction

Waitress

*****

I really enjoyed the start and middle of this #movie. It's quirky feel reminded me of 'Raising Arizona' or 'Fargo', both films which I love. Its basically a movie about female companionship and comradery. The main actors were great. Its funny, witty...

The Ghost by Robert Harris

*****

I really enjoyed this novel, a total page turner that raced along. It's narrated by the ghost writer of the former British prime minister, who's brought in on the project after the sudden death of the first writer. The ex PM Adam Lang and his wife Ruth...

Wall-E

*****

A shocking disappointment for me and my kids. After all the hype, this competes with Ratatouille as the worst movie Pixar has ever made. Boring...

Mamma Mia

*****

A guilty pleasure. Best to dive straight in and enjoy singing along to the ABBA songs. Cast clearly had a laugh. (Though cd barely watch Pierce Brosnan singing). Most of ye wd hate it ;~)
